It seems like the thread lock is coming out too quickly. I didn't even get to really get into the Saban thing with Aquilla and Tom. I think I'll just lurk for awhile. See y'all later. :?

You have some point KP but it seems there are a few folks who just can't talk about the topic without taking shots.

However I am going to post AQUILA's original post and your response below and open this topic for discussion.

What I will do is delete posts that cross the line, have inappropriate links and if cause enough aggravation will give time outs.

    Here's AQUILA's post
    And KP's response
Keep it on topic as like I said posts could be deleted without a lot of comment.

    KP,

I locked the topic. Any moderator can unlock, post, and then lock back any topic. That is what Terry did. I'm sorry if you don't care for the control we try to keep on the civility of these boards. I made it clear as to why I was locking it. mcg and gatorzfan had once again hijacked the topic and tried to spew their hatred of Tennessee no matter what the topic. All that had to be done was to start the conversation once again. And again, when they hijack it, it will be locked, and can be opened again.

As Bill said, if they continue to act that way all expense paid vacations will be their reward.

I would hope that this topic, or another one we might start, could allow the conversation to start over.

As moderators we'd like to keep things civil. I (speaking for myself) know it's tough because we aren't all fans of the same school. It's hard enough on single school boards, fights breakout all the time and people are banned daily.

It seems to me that sometimes a thread just starts to go south and divert from the original intent of the thread. Maybe you guys would rather that we delete posts rather than lock threads?

    Terry

Speaking of Posts, did you see my boy Henerey split them 4 times in the Gator Bowl?

Wouldn't that be a lot simpler and more fair to others who haven't posted the offending post?

I realize that there is a hair trigger on some of my posts but hey....if that's what happens I can live with it.....because of several factors involved.....some of which I'll admit on occasion is my own doing....albeit unknowingly at times because I never know how far that hair trigger has already been pulled.
