Its not true!!! I am here to tell you 1 (ONE) day to P & C ! Thanks to Ricko and George for checking local burial grounds :!:
Jif, my man, I was worried that we'd have to hold up the start of baseball season for your funeral rites! Glad to see you are still with us.
Im ready for some baseball! Hello to Gip Krebs Doc T. Been busy killing Deer on interstate 95...oh my poor Chrysler 300!! LOL
I knew Joel was okay when I couldn't contact him with my Ouija board. I did hear from a Grace Pelski, though. She said Joel was a nice boy.
I'd never heard of Grace Pelski, but figured she was somebody...just somebody I didn't know. Maybe a sommelier from R.I. that Rick knew. So I googled her....well Rick really did check the Obits!!
I had the same experience about 4 years ago in Kentucky on the way back to North Carolina. #@$~@!!#$ Deer ran across 6 lanes of interstate and a big median and even though I saw him and was braking and swerving right he got me. Had to leave the car in Kentucky and go back and get in about two weeks later. Lots of deer here in NC also. In fact when I came back from bowling about a week ago there were about five of them in my front yard.
Indeed, bill....There were 4 of them loping across the interstate..they jumped over the center divider and went right in front of me. Unlike cats or dogs or squirells even, they dont stop for cars,,they keep going!. I had 2 seconds to react and was afraid to apply brakes because of trafic behind me. I was just afraid of the windshield( which came out ok). I would have to say we were EXTREMELY lucky no injuries.
jif, Glad to hear you were not injured. Deers and vehicles can be very dangerous indeed. Where you see one deer, often times there are two or more nearby. Don
