The Gators have an amazing two deep in talent coming back from a Championship defense. I know for certain that UF has never in history had this kind of talent and depth coming back on one side of the ball. With Strong and McCarney coaching up that side this figures to be one hard team to score on. DE Cunningham Dunlap Trattou Green DT Marsh Sanders Davis Antwine Hunter (not quite proven yet, but all the potential in the world) LB Spikes Stamper Hicks Doe Jones CB Haden Jenkins Pierre Louis Anderson S Wright Black Hill Munroe
You guys ran the score up on quite a few teams this past season. I imagine they've already red lettered that date. e.g., NU at ASU in 1996.
AJ that is true but Urban was pretty good about getting 4th qtr playing time for the replacements. I don't feel there are any real grudges out there like Fla had in for the Dawgs of Georgia after the 2007 Ga-Fla demonstration by the pups.
You're kidding me right? You guys are wearing the white hat and you don't think anybody wants to knock it off? Every team you play is gonna be more focused than they usually are. They're gonna try tricks, play dirty and try and hurt ya. You better be 3 deep on the roster. You are the Defending Champions, HUGE BULLSEYE in everybody's eyes.
Yeh, but ya gotta like the open week between UK and LSU!! I don't know what to make of Arkansas (looks like they'll be playing Ryan Mallett behind a rebuilt oline but do have Michael Smith at RB) but LSU and Miss State will be tougher games for UF. That's why I like UF having an open date b4 LSU.
LSU and MissSt are indeed the pitfalls to the schedule. Maybe at Columbia could be tricky...you never know.
AJ is great at stirring the pot! However his point about teams circling their date with Florida. There is no doubt that teams will be really up for the games with the Gators.
I think 'teams' is a rather loose usage of that term. I count 2 airports and a truck stop on that schedule
No .... in 2009 UF is playing a PAC-10 like schedule. Abd BTW .... how many conference games did the 2008 PAC-10 champ play? And how many conference games did the 2008 SEC champ play? :?: :?: :?:
Gaterz, Sorry you don't let the others play 9 games, but I do appreciate how discrimination has long played a part of your history so I will respect your culture and traditions. You are reaping huge rewards for simply doing what is done by every team in the Pac10... playing 9 games. Dave, Sheeet... you'd crack up in my office... The only thing we're missing is a FL boy.
