LOL! I have to admit, he is making me a believer. Prior to seeing him play in the Alabama and Oklahoma games I knew he was outstanding, but like so many non-Florida people I tired of the "walk on water" kind of talk. I now am looking forward to seeing him walk......er.....play next year.
Thanks for the nice comments re Tebow. I know the guy get's alot of hype ... probably too much and that's going to set high expectations for 2009. I'm worried there's really no way he can achieve what's expected ... when expectations seem to be another Heisman and MNC. Much has been said about his last 2 games, especially the 4th quarter performance. With those two games on the line, Tebow was 11 for 13 for 148 yards and 2 TD - a pass eff rating of 231.
I would venture that the expectations for Tebow next season are going to be about as high as any player in college football history because these are not pie-in-the-sky....unrealistic expectations....they are really what is going to be expected by the masses.
Yes .... four times now ... albeit the last 3 times were versions edited to fit into 3 hours. Another article from Si on TT .... re the NFL experiment. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writers/tim_layden/01/13/tebow/index.html?eref=T1 Seems Belichick wants to give him a try at QB.
Biology will be GTG. The teacher is a CFB fan, so I talked him into watching a replay of the Gator Bowl. Pysch 308 is gonna be a pain though. I think the teacher is a biased SEC fan because all we talked about tonight was the mental impact that Tim Tebow will have on society as we know it.
