Here is a take from CBS Sportsline on this:

"Days before the game, Harris had said of Harvin, "As far as we're concerned, he's just another receiver." Minutes before kickoff, Harris was the idiot acting up at midfield, hooting and hollering and trying his best to psyche out the Gators, I guess. And then in the third quarter Harris got his hands on Harvin -- albeit late, after a 13-yard run that followed a 52-yard run -- and gave Harvin's sore ankle a good tug before letting him up. The crowd saw the replay on the Dolphin Stadium scoreboard and booed in vigilante anger. As well it should. You're a creep, Harris. A loudmouth and a creep."

"He tried to hurt me but it didn't work," Harvin said. "I knew all along I was going to play this game."

That show of unsportsmanlike conduct....speaking of those kind of missed calls....reminded me very much of Darnell Dockett's knee twist of Earnest Graham back in 2001 vs. FSU.

Is this what Stoops allows on his team?

we're watching this play on DVR here at the office. I didn't think it was a big deal then and I don't know. In fact, no one here does.

It appears that he made the tackle on the leg (which was all he had because Harvin is so damned fast), and it appears that Harvin is kicking back at him after the tackle (there was most likely jawing going on down there) and the guy tugged on his leg.

Harvin rolled around like a Mexican soccer player recreating the Kennedy assassination but he was back in the game the next play.

I cannot emphasize this enough to you.. We're watching it on slow mo here and Harvin does appear to be kicking back at him before Harris tugs on it.

But it's football... that stuff is going to happen either way.

Somehow, I knew it when that play happened you'd be upset over it.

On an unrelated note, satellite and DVR at work are awesome! Dark Knight coming up next...

Percy was okay after the tackle ... but not so sure he was, after the game:

Now, I know why he's going pro!!

LOL, maybe he was hoping to get more than his ankle tugged on?

Just watched that play again .... for the eighth time ... and it was definitely an intentional attempt by Harris to injure Harvin.

BTW, check the 7:10 mark in the 3rd quarter and watch Harris knee Tebow in the helmet after he tackles Tebow.

And, on top of this ... it was Harris who had "nasty" the facemask on Demps.
