    The minimum score to win is now 390. That means that the following are still in contention:

    In first place is La D Vol with 390 points and 419 possible.
    In second place is Tennessee Tom with 388 points and 405 possible.
    In third place is Gator Bill with 376 points and 412 possible.

    Corey, Rogator, Treefrog, and LoneStarIrish no longer have enough possible points for first place.

    If we have all three picked the same teams then Cindy will be first me second and Tom 3rd. On the other hand if they both lose we will finish in the same order with Cindy edging out Tom.

    The only way I win is if there is if on one of the two games I have a different pick than Cindy and mine wins.

    I'm in a similar situation as the regular season.

    Assuming the top 3 took Florida, congratulations on your win Tom. :wink:

    Sorry Husker but you must have taken remedial math at Nebraska or you are guaranteeing a win for Oklahoma..

    If we all take Florida and Florida wins, Cindy takes 1st, Bill takes 2nd, and I drop to 3rd.

    If we all take Florida and they lose, then you would be correct.

    However, there could be strategy involved that would have one or more taking Oklahoma

    Actually Gator Bill has offered to take me under his wing!! To test my math skills he asked me to do this math question in my head:

    Q = What does 70+71+93+94+95+97 = ?

    A = 6 National Championships :D

    You are progressing well on the math front AJ, nice job. I particularly enjoyed two things about the run in the 90's. One was the game in the Orange Bowl, 93 I believe, where for three quarters the Huskers couldn't seem to keep up with a fast Miami team and Warren Sapp was running in front of your bench trash talking and taunting. Then in the 4th quarter the Huskers wore Miami down and stuffed the ball down their throat for two TD's and the victory. Poor old Warren wore himself out with his taunts I guess and did't have much left in the 4th.

    I also enjoyed the 96 gap in your numbers

    But did not enjoy the 95 beating.

    Also I started to post you with what Tom did yesterday myself then realized that a man with your subtle sense of humor was one step ahead of me.

    AJ, maybe it's really 5 1/2 Championships. I think one of those was shared with another team. Michigan? 94?

    FSU 18 NU 16 = Final score.

    2 of the worst calls in NU football history happened in 1 game. When Mike Ditka says ya got screwed, that's the final word.

    Now here's a thought. Make Instant Replay reviewable for all known blown calls in the past and let's correct the record.

    Hmmmmm....that could be another NC considering that guy for Penn State stepped outa bounds where the band sits...

    Something unholy about a Neb fan having an OU avatar, or a Longhorn fan having a OU avatar...but it's ok for us to root for the cheatin', trailerhome living bastards!! Just this one time!! :)

    It just didn't matter who I picked in the contest. I only had 6 points. If Florida wins, I get third place. If Oklahoma wins, I get first. The same result happens whether I pick OU or UF. The only way it doesn't happen is if Bill picked OU and OU wins. That wasn't gonna happen. Cindy had to go the same way Bill went to insure she finished above Bill. No choice, they were both taking the Gators. I'm an SEC guy so I kept Florida as my pick.

    I didn't even place in the top three of the regular season. Sure is nice to win something this year. Maybe I'll buy myself a trophy. Something that sparles I think. Yeah, that's it, sparkles... :wink:
