Well they took it to Alabama early and squashed the comeback attempt. Utah clearly outplayed Alabama in every way. We really need a playoff because right now if I was them I would be very pissed that Utah was not number 1. :(

    I can't disagree KP.

Bama still has a lot to be proud of this year though and will be a power in the SEC for years to come.

Here's to the Gators and the Tide meeting in more SEC Championship games!

Utah really looked good. I can see Alabama being a little down because of the loss to Florida in the SEC championship game. But IMHO Utah just manhandled them.

Sorry about the outcome KP. No doubt in my mind that the Tide are back.

    kp,

All losses are difficult, but The Crimson Tide had an excellent season. I look for Alabama to be in the hunt every year with Saban as coach.

The Utes definitely were the superior team this time around.

This was the first time I had seen Utah play, never even considered them before, which is why the playoff would be the smartest move for all, there is no way to form an opinion and expect it to be accurate.

I have said all along that the next 2 years are when Alabama will really be back and just having 9 seniors on the team points to that. Alot of freshmen started this year and that will really payoff when they are juniors. Alabama had virtually no injuries all year and the ball bounced our way most of the time. So with all of that I am not terribly down. We were in a position to win the Florida game but Utah struck early and did not let up and that kind of surprised me. I thought our defense was better than that. Anyway, I'm a little disappointed but not disheartened. I'm hoping were in the NC hunt for the foreseeable future. :)

    :D

You had few seniors, but most of them blocked for you... so you gotta get that worked out. Still, that giant LT playing in the all-star game today appears to be the new heir to smith's LT spot at bama...

JPW is/was terrible.. I think you guys will be better off without him.
