Congrats to the Tigers and their win over South Carolina in basketball last night. Twas a good game. You guys were just too deep for us. Devan Downey did all he could for us but you could tell at the end of the game it was taking all he had to get the ball to the rim on free throws. He was drained. Good luck the rest of the year!

I love it! From all I've heard over the years Clemson and So. Carolina hate each other. To see our two newest members, each a fan of the other's "hated" rival, express such sportsmanship toward each other, makes me want to ask, in the board sense, Where have you been all our life?

I think when it comes to Carolina and Clemson, for the most part, the hate is only when we play each other. We know we have to live and work with these people all year. Some of us are family. Us fellow South Carolinians realize in the grand scheme of things, it's just a game. When our time on this Earth is done, who won in 2008 won't mean anything.

I think I have figured it out. These two are actually board terrorists that have disguised themselves as totally sane and caring rivals. Couldn't fool me! 8) 8) 8)

Now remember guys, on the day we play each other. We just assume spit on ya than shake each others hand. Everyone remembers the Brawl from 2004!

That was one of the best games I have ever watched, and contrary to popular belief that is one heck of a coach you've got there. I love the up tempo ball and hope the gamecocks do well.

My Uncle taught at Carolina most of my family that went to school went there.
I landed in Clemson when Uncle Sam was through with me and fell in love with the area and the energy at Clemson. Been here on and off ever since.

Truth be told, what you two are talking about fits well here in Indiana in describing the Purdue-IU rivalry. I'm sure we all know some married couples in our respective states where the loyalties are split.

Tom, I don't think you have that situation in Tennessee, not even with Vanderbilt. It seems that your biggest rivalries are conference related vs. in-state. Is that correct?
