The thing that kills me about this is that I read an article that during an Iraqi demonstration protesting the Israeli airstrikes a suicide bomber rode a bicycle in the midst of the crowd and blew himself up because he was......protesting the Israeli airstrikes. How does that make any logical sense??? Let's try to go inside the mind of a terrorist for a minute... Hey, look there are some guys who believe the same things I do. They're pissed about the same stuff I am... Man, this would be a great time to blow them up while they're all together so I can protest too!!! I'll strap some bombs to myself and kill myself in protest while I'm at it... Man, I'm one smart terrorist.
I have been there. I have met with many Israelis and discussed with them the issues they deal with on a daily basis. The Israeli people are some of the most patient and forgiving people on the face of the earth. They have the ability to wipe the Palestinians off the face of the Earth. I am amazed at the restraint they show. Their concern lies in the reaction of all of the other Arab states and the entities that back those states. It would not hurt my feelings a bit if Israel were to wipe out the Arab nation. If all other countries would stay out of it, Israel could make the middle East, and therefore the rest of the world, much more secure.
I wish Israel would go ahead and take care of them once and for all. Screw what the rest of the world thinks. These are God's chosen people. If we don't back them, we are destined to fall!
My wife's uncle is a retired three star general in the USAF. He was base commander at Andrews AFB in Washington, Edwards AFB in California as well as the 4950 Fighter test wing. He was also on the design team for the original B1B bomber. He has piloted virtiually very aircraft available in his time. He had a lot of interaction with the Israelis over the years, particularly in training their pilots on the US technology. He always told me that if our pilots were #1 then theirs were #1-A. I don't think turning the Israelis loose is as simple as it sounds. I'm sure they could hold their own against any one or two countries at once but their success doesn't takle into account a full scale Muslim counter attack nor intervention from our friends, the Russians. But I sure am enjoying watching them re-design the Gaza.
I wish they could wipe out Hamas completely. More than that I wish the countries who are selling those rockets to them would be exposed and stop.
I don't even consider Islam a religion. To me it is nothing more than a murderous cult. I think there are two types of Muslims, the active terrorist Muslim and the enabler who looks the other way. Neither of them are worth a damn. With that said, if I were president I would consider bringing this to a boil. Go on TV and make an announcement identifying the Muslim countries who we have irrefutable proof of arming, enabling , housing or funding terrorism. Identify their capital cities. Announce that the next act of terrorism anywhere in the world that can be connected to Islam would result in a 72 hour deadline to evacuate the capital cities. Then pick one out of a hat an level it. Bunker bust the SOB flat. If another attack occurs pick another city. The only thing these bastards can understand is their infrastructure and their money supplies. Life is meaningless. Let's play this out on a level that they cannot compete on.
This conflict is seemingly getting more serious every single day. Israel has mobilized ground troops. I hope they take care of Hamas once and for all. Tell the rest of the world to mind their own business. I don't think anyone would blame any other country for defending their home turf against terrorists. Somehow most of the world doesn't respect Israel's right to protect its people.
