    Damn 385 games and 244 complete games, is that a typo? Even in his day when managers didn't think in terms of closers and pitchers were supposed to go the distance, that is a hell of % of complete games.

    I wonder what Drysdales and Gibsons % was.

    Terry,

    Adding wins and losses only gives you the total number of decisions. Marichal had 457 career starts (in 471 total games), although even at that number 244 complete games is still impressive.

    In any event, using the numbers George posted (after he corrected them), Marichal's WL% is .631 and Pedro's WL% stands at .704.
