...now I gotta study... Thanks again to all involved. Jiffy, the train is pointed your direction...
The VA is going to send me back to school and take care of 100% of my tuition and books. It's a program you have to apply for and get accepted, called the Vetrans Vocational Rehabilitation Program. I'm going to go thru Lincoln University's (How ironic is that!!) Registered Nurse Degree Program. Have Glove, will Travel. Heh heh heh.....
What he's really saying is that he's going into Rehab!! You know those years liiving that Calif lifestyle finally caught up to him!  Congrats A.J.! Terry
I know Doc, I tricked myself. All these years of drinkin' and I thought it was 2 Livers and 1 Kidney...
Good move. Lots of men opting for a noble profession where there is a shortage and the pay is very good. Good luck, AJ.
That's great AJ. I guess somehow I missed a prior conversation, but like I said that's great. How many years is the program, 3? 4? Keep us up to date.
The best thing about being a male nurse is that you get to hang around with female nurses. Good luck! p.s. JIF needs his prostate checked.
Very smart move, A.J. Nursing is one of the few professions where hiring men is a priority and jobs are plentiful. Plus, with your Marine background, you are going to have hospitals and governmental agencies tripping over themselves to hire you. You may need to hire Scott Boras as your agent after you finish school.
