Today in Basketball. It's the second game of a double header. Gonzaga vs IU is the first game. I wonder if they purposefully pitted two Catholic Schools vs 2 State Schools? They must be expecting a big crowd since it's going to be played at Lucas Oil Stadium, where the Colts play.
Ohio State comes in undefeated and as usual loaded with talent. It will be an uphill battle for the young Irish squad. But hopefully we can hang with the perennial Big 10 champions and get lucky at the end. Ohio State is coached by one of the nations top guys in Thad Matta, while the Irish are led by what one survey said was the 8th best coach in the Big East. Unfortuneately our best player is likely out for the game, not good news. The odds look long for the lads, but who knows.

    Go Irish!!

A great win for our young Bucks over a very tough, experienced and highly ranked Irish squad on a neutral floor. That kid Harangody is one big, tough, talented player......coming off of the sick bed after a bout with pneumonia, I do think he got gassed at the end of the game. I have not gotten a chance to see him play, but he's got game and I like him alot....

Well it's not about the distance, once you get on that airplane it's only about an extra hour for OSU fans. Why do I think Ohio has more retirees living in the area than Texas does, why would somebody from Texas retire to AZ? :)
