In Tally today at 3:30. Gators need this one to keep our dream alive, Noles would love nothing better than to ruin our chances at the NC like we have done to them in the past.

Gators are a 14 point favorite, but put that aside the Noles are out for revenge after the Gators have won 4 straight. Also in spite of the Gators having a pretty big edge in the series Bowden has a one game edge over the Gators.

    Go Gators.

Noles have looked pretty ordinary the few times I have seen them play. But I think you guys don't have a great record vs Bowden in Tallyville, right? So I guess anything can happen, but somehow inspite of all the rivalry talk and dad gumit Bobbah Bowden I think the Gators will win big, maybe even huge.

I understand Huskerman, thanks. Root for those Gators.

I agree about FSU looking ordinary Terry. But this is a rivalry game and they would like nothing better than to ruin our season.

Our record in Tally wasn't bad until the late 80's. Then we lost, or tied, right up until Zook beat them in his last game in 2004. We then beat them again in 2006. Both were close games.

One thing that made the 2004 game so special is that it was the dedication of their field being renamed Bobby Bowden Field. So at the end of the day and until they played there the next season Bobby was 0 - 1 at Bobby Bowden field.

I also read the other day that since 1990 FSU has the best record in College football with the Gators 2nd and if we win this game we would move ahead of them.

But I agree that we should win and maybe big. It may be heavy rain today so let's hope that doesn't hurt the Gators.

Actually, I will cheer for the Gators. FSU is a likely opponet for us in the Bowl game. I would love to see all their weaknesses exposed.

    GOOOOO GATORS!

You still ain't gonna beat Alabama though...

    Why thank you Huskerman.

I hope we can expose plenty of weakness for you and in fact if you play FSU I hope you beat them.

Incredible display of offensive diversity. I know last year many, including myself, thought the Gator offense was too much Tim Tebow. No running game. But this year the Gators have a very good running game, not a traditonal running game but Rainey, Harvin, and Demps are just so quick to hit the hole that they get a lot of yard. It's very different than that Alabama running game with Coffee who will run you over, he's much more in the mould of a traditional TB.

That game next Sat night is really going to be something.

Should be a great game in the SECCG.

Terry ..... in a conference with 12 teams ... Florida has 4 guys in the top 17 in rushing yards per game.

No definite word that I know of about Harvin yet. I think a lot of Gators are assuming he won't play next Sat.

    If so that could hurt.

Meyer has stated re Percy Harvin that it's "day to day", will probably be a game time decision, and the team will prepare as if he's not going to play.

The news @ DT is mixed as Lawrence Marsh is expected back at 100% but his backup - Brandon Antwine - is probably a "no go" due to a knee injury sustained vs fsu.

BTW .... Brandon Antwine is a pretty interesting story as last Fall, the guy was unable to walk due to serious back problems.
