Just thought I'd wish each and every one of you a great day, and that there is much for you to be thankful for on this special day. I'd also like to share with you a real Texas Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving to all! Be safe as you travel. Terry, your picture (looks like a Norman Rockwell) conjures up a fond memory. My mother made great fried chicken, real mashed potatoes, and to-die-for green beans. I always looked forward as an adult to visiting for Sunday night dinner. As she aged and kitchen work became difficult, Dad started going out on Sunday for carry-out Colonel Sanders and all the fixins. We all laughed and referred to it as Mom's homemade fried chicken. The good old days...........
Happy Thanksgiving to all from the McCord house. Terry, are you sure that is from Texas? Looks more like any state from the Southeastern US.
It will ONLY be happy if NU goes to 8-4.... Just Kiddin....we don't play till Friday. Happy Thanks Giving to all on the SkyBox.
A Happy Thanksgiving to all from the Malloys who are pleased to announce the engagement of their son Commish.

Congrats to the Malloys!! Now move your TV close to the window and set up a chair outside in the snow so you can watch the Lions in a traditional Thanksgiving Day mode!!

OMG! That must have been the reason I felt the earth rumble. I hope she likes bowling. Congratulations.
A Happy Thanksgiving to one and all. Sorry for the late updates but we came down to Bliss' folks for this holiday, and we spent Thanksgiving at their 'hunting cabin' so cell service is dead as old Marley's ghost here. Mom, we'll give you a call when we return to civilization. This morning we awoke at her folks place which sits on the banks of the Coosa River and Thanksgiving is the first day of duck season. 10 ducks later, a p*ssed off neighbor, and an incredible missed deer story later we headed for the cabin. Carson isn't old enough for the 5am float in the river, but he made up for it by getting to shoot 'with the big guys' when the clay pidgeons came out later after the feast. His first time even holding a shot gun and his first target, he blasts the thing out of the sky. In true JOCOesque fashion, he then retired to shooting rounds with the 22 all the while declaring himself 'all-time skeet shooting champion.' Personally, I think the kick spooked him a bit but we'll see how it goes tomorrow. Oh, Mike... congrats to Commish and all the Malloy clan!! I'm sure she will make a fine addition!! And what kind of parent would I be without pictures?? Carson couldn't shoot ducks, but it sure didn't stop him from posing with them.
I'll echo what George said, this is truly a great bunch of people here on Skybox. Gipper, congratulations on the Commish's engagement. I do have to ask one question though to ensure myself it may last! Has she met you yet?  Seriously congratulations.
