I'm not shocked, since he is the Godfather of their successful era of football, but I doubt it will have the effect they want. The landscape has changed, and I don't think the formula will work again... Snyder at KSU
I think part of their problem is that they never really 'built' on anything there. I know their fans and the school don't seem to really look back and embrace those who 'changed the world' at KState. They sorta did this to themselves.
What was Synders record his last 2 years, it was 4-7 and 5-6. Expect more of the same. Horrible move by KSU.
Also here is Synders record vs the top B12/Big 8 teams in his career at KSU. Texas 2-2 A&M 2-5 Tech 3-3 Neb 5-12 Col 5-11 OU 6-9 His record was built on beating the 1AA teams he scheduled and the Baylors, Iowa States, etc of the B12/B8. It's a disastorous move, being an interim which is what he'll be cast as no matter what KSU says when he's introduced, will kill any recruiting. Who wants to go play for a caretaker coach.
Me too Gaterz. I heard this was possible last week but didn't believe it then. I don't see this as the answer for Kansas State.
