...keep the Horns under 100 points this T-day? If figures... the game finally moves back to it's rightful place on Thanksgiving night, and we aren't even competitive with medium sized high schools. I guaranty your boys will score on their first 5 possesssions. After that I can only hope they start tripping on that crummy playing surface you guys use.
Scott, Let me take you back a few years. November, 1983. The scoring explosion featuring the triplets (Gill, Rozier, Fryar). That group set unbelievable records in that season. Examples being almost a 1,000 yards total offense against Minnesota. 48 unanswered points against CU in the 3rd quarter (FG Kicker got tired), Heisman trophy winner that year, I could go on and on. The point is, when we met our biggest rival OU at the time, they had a below average year going, and they took the #1 team to the brink, and almost pulled the upset. I don't know why I told you that when I personnaly think your right and they're going to get smashed.  Good luck anyway.
Well given that the last time that the Ag's visited Austin our QB was cheap shoted out of the game on a stretcher, I doubt if much mercy will be shown. Does that guy still play for you? However I would imagine that he'll probably not score more than 60-70 points, he needs the points to remind the voters that we are a pretty decent team. After that I would imagine you'll get John Chiles at QB, but I would imagine he'll be given the green light to put some more points on the board if he can. They just might not give him the 1st team OL to help out. Of course like AJ said we still have to play the game. But the Tech/OU game having been played already migth impact how he approaches the game. If Tech wins, he might go to the bench a lot earlier as it won't matter if we have a big score or not as OU won't jump us in the polls and the Fiesta Bowl after 2 straight no shows by OU against the midmajor team du jour, will want to have Texas in the game this year vs a mid major. I hadn't really noticed the quality of the turf in DKR, is it really bad? Speaking of quality turf, that field in Baltimore that ND and Navy played on was awesome looking on TV. I couldn't tell if it was grass or the new turf that has become so popular. Terry
You mean back when they started calling him "Cart" McCoy? I don't remember who knocked him out, so I'm not sure if that guy is still around. Wow... AJ's pep-talk has motivated me to believe we CAN hold the score under 100! I can honestly say I've NEVER seen a defense this bad. For whatever reason when I've seen you're boys on TV there are always divets knocked out of the field EVERYWHERE. I'm sure it's not as bad as it looks, but on TV it ain't so good.
