This is a pretty darn important game for the Longhorns, they have OU who they beat a short 5 weeks ago jumping over them in the polls and if they are to stay up with them and hope for a prime BCS ranking should either Tech or Alabama fall then they need to lay a whupping on Kansas. The bigger the score the better. But they are also in a precarious position due to the big mouth or should I say Facebook shame of one of their centers last week. He's off the team, but last week vs Baylor the starting center was injured and his backup is a freshman. So they go on the road to Kansas with a freshman at center and a backup TE working as his backup. This is not a good thing, the freshman will be need to play extremely well or not only will the offense sputter potentially and costing them points in the BCS, but it could get Colt McCoy injured. That would be disasterous. Here's hoping he has the game of his life. Terry
Texas wins 35-7 today, but I fear that while it's a nice win on the road good margin never in doubt type of win and all. But a bigger win would have been even better with regards to the human voters and trying to stay ahead of OU in the BCS poll which is he tie breaker should their be a 3 way tie in the b12 south. Also please note that Mack wasn't worried about embarassing KU, when he was up 35-7 at the end of the 3rd qtr. He kept Colt McCoy in the whole game and tried to score more points just didn't happen.
