    Speaking of fantasy...

My run to the playoffs has hit quick sand. I knew coming in, looking at Beantown's lineup, that it was a lineup that could drop huge points if some things went right...

Sure enough, LSU is a gas bag (as I suspected) and Kentucky is terrible AND ran into a good Florida team...

Mix that in with the fact that my best players couldn't make points without helping his team (e.g. I have Missouri QB Chase Daniel but he has Jeremy Maclin and Chase Coffman)..

Oh well, there is always next year.

    Scott,

When should the scores post to the fantasy league? Dave and I both have defensive scores but nothing else.

Everything is posted now except the standings being updated. The points scored are updated but not the standings.

If I have everything figured right and with the only tiebreaker being points scored three of the playoff spots are pretty well determined. BuckeyeT, LoneStarIrish and North Carolina Gators are in the playoffs. Motorcity Maulers, Scott's Aggies and Barnstormin are tied for the last spot. Barnstormin lost this week but passed Scott's Aggies in points so if it ended today Barnstormin would be in the playoff.

Barnstormin and Scott's Aggies are close in points, but the Motorcity Maulers need to win and the other two lose for them to get in the playoff.

If BuckeyeT wins next week they will be the top seed and play one of the teams that are tied while the North Carolina Gators and LoneStarIrish would match up to play the winner of that match.

If BuckeyeT would lose next week and either North Carolina Gators or LoneStarIrish win The BuckeyeT would slip to 2nd seed.

The North Carolina Gators win any tie for playoffs because of their high scoring Fun and Gun mixed with the Spread Option.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

As Bill noted the scores are up now.

I had a pretty mediocre week, but Rocktopper had worse, so I picked up a win I probably didn't deserve.

    I'll take it! :D

Scott, it seems we have a rematch this week, the last week of the regular season.

I crushed BuckeyeT this week. Bill you've made an amazing comeback from the dead after the first few weeks. I would think that at that point you might have been thinking about firing your coach!! :)

Yeah Terry, I lost to Scott and you the first two weeks. But when I lost to you I had the 2nd highest score that week. I made a few moves with my roster and hung in there.

I think in effect I fired my coach, probably more accurate I woke him up to the walk on pool.

Then BuckeyeT beat me when I had another high score. But since then things have gone well. But I have some good players off in week 11 and 12, the playoff weeks, that could cause me problems.

I think you and I are headed for a first round matchup.

I certainly won't trip you up again Bill. I've proven to have VERY bad timing.
I've had both of my QB's on the bench during their best weeks.
I can't seem to find any consistency in my backs.
Your top 3 guys probably beat my whole team on most weeks.
I'm hoping Terry's horns can cause Harrell problems this week to give me a chance.

Harrell has certainly been a strength for me Scott. That isn't a good draw for me though and it might help you.

I picked up Donald Brown off the walk on list and he's been really good for me.

.....don't get too cocky there Lonestar. My kids had already clinched a playoff spot, I rested my starters and we spent the week preparing in Cabo.....talk to me again when it's money time! 8)

    I tell you guys what...

If Les Miles pulls Scott out of the lineup one more time, or Stoops stops throwing the ball to their awesome TE.. I'm going to kick someone in the fruitstand.. This is frustrating

You want to see frustrating, look at my team and the number of bye's I have for the two playoff weeks.

Brown, Ringer, Harrall are the biggies.

    Bill...

It only makes sense that you should dump all three right now!

    8)

This last game is meaningless, and you should get your boys ready for the playoffs!

Thanks for the advice guys but I'll take it one game at a time and think I do have players in place that will have to do the work for me.

As far as this week I feel an obligation to try to win as it could affect the playoffs, sorry Scott, but it's week 11 and 12 that worry me. Of course week 12 only comes into play if I survive week 11 which will be against Terry O and his LoneStarIrish if the current standings hold up.

    LOL I hear ya Bill.

I was rather limited by what I could do based upon who had byes etc this past week. I knew that Beantown presented an odd challenge for me in that my big point players couldn't have big games without many of his players also racking up big points..

The difference turned out to be those little things... I used Armando Allen thinking Charlie wouldn't empty the bench (I was wrong).. I figured Zona would go to Gronk over and over... but they didn't (and lost).. and LSU would finally figure out that they make their living between the tackles with Scott...but again, Balloonhead proves to be an idiot again...

Tough, tough week. I am hoping to get a miracle win to end this and maybe sneak into the playoffs.
