What a turn around by Ohio State after a very poor showing against Purdue and on the road too boot.

Buckeyes come out being very aggressive and score 21 points in the firt quarter.

MSU appeared to be stunned! Pryor and Wells pretty much had their way and our defense was able to contain Ringer.

Second half things turned completely around with Michigan State being the aggressor. Tressel buttoned things up with some very conservative play calling.

Our defense scored on two defensive plays for long TDs that made the score a bit lopsided.

Game with Penn State next Saturday here in the horseshoe should be a great one.

Yep, this time next week we'll know "Who's the boss" in the B10!

(Sounds like your D is really starting to get on a roll!)

Don, they are coming along. The defensive front easily played its best game of the year and controlled the los the entire game. The offense is still a work in progress but are getting closer every week.

The young QB reminds me more and more of VY each and every game. Very hesitant in the pocket but glides with the football like a gazelle. You forget how fast he is because he's so smooth and then you forget that he's 6'6" 235 until he punks a DB trying to make a stop on the corner...

The old horseshoe is gonna be rockin' this Saturday night..... 8)

Trivia, who was the last team to beat OSU at night at home? :)

Ohio State just looked so impressive vs a decent MSU team. Once you contain Ringer, while Hoyer isn't horrible or anything he needs the threat of the running game to be effective. He can't do it alone.

I'll raise ya one.....who is the ONLY team - ever - to beat OSU at night at home?

I will have to admit, it's much better to have "VY" on the proper side of the football field! Our kid is not there yet, but he's got the same tool kit.....

Last time PSU beat us in Columbus I was still in school - 1978!!

No disrespect to you Buckeyes whatsoever. You guys are coming along just fine.

That being said.. what the heck Michigan State? Their unforced errors and mental mistakes are things they didn't show all year long. This is an older team and shouldn't take mental steps back like that.

Every year this happens. It's like the latest pop singer phenom or child star, you know the downward spiral is coming... it's only a matter of time.

    it's not even tragic anymore.

Corey, I was just yankin' your chain. It was absolutely classic Sparty.....face a little adversity and fold like a cheap suit. I felt bad for Coach Dino, I like him and I think he can get that culture turned around....in time.
