    1. Well any topic on this week has to start with the startling Longhorn victory over #1 OU. Early looked like the same old same old. OU scoring easily, but that big return by Shipley was a big play. Then in the 2nd half the Longhorns just dominated the Sooners. When Sergio Kindle put that big hit on Sam Bradford I didn't think he was going to get up again. I don't think we can make it through the season undefeated though, but we are in the drivers seat for the B12 championship game.

    2. Oklahoma States shocking upset of Missouri, they just seemed to have much more energy than the Tigers. It was a very impressive win for them. Missouri knew that if they won they would likely ascend to the #1 ranking and they were at home.

    3. Almost as shocking was that Neb took Texas Tech to OT in Lubbutt. The Sat Houston Chronicle predicted a 63-18 Tech win. I figured that Tech would for sure put up 50+ points. I could understand Neb scoring 20-30 points, Joe Ganz is a pretty darn good QB and Tech is not known for their defense. I just didn't think Tech would allow Nebs offense enough time on the field to score a lot of points.

    4. Vandy finally lost a game, no big deal. You just knew they were going to lose a game. They will lose a few more, but still have a great season.

    5. Gators clobbering, decimating, mauling, whatever...LSU. Gator have speed everywhere on offense. LSU isn't a slow team but they just couldn't keep up with the Gators. I think LSU is going to be hurt by their QB play this year. Lee is very young, and Hatch is a kid with more heart than talent.

    6. Auburn!! Yikes could it get any worse than losing to Arkansas who everybody else has beaten by 30+ points.

    7. Penn State. Really came on strong vs a Wisc team that may not be as good as people thought they were at the begining of the season and maybe they were a little beat down by previous losses to Mich and Ohio State but still PSU put a big whupping on them. Penn State vs Ohio State should be the game of the year in the B10, no disrespect to Mich State intended.

    8. Observation, we all know comparative scores are really not that meaningful. But that said, Notre Dame put up more points on Purdues defense than either Penn State or Ohio State did. It makes me feel good about our offense.

    9. BYU and Utah continue their run towards an end of the season matchup which could very likely end up with a BCS bid for the winner. BYU is already in the top 10 and could rise higher if they continue undefeated while the BCS conference teams ahead of them knock each other off.

    10. Death watch on Tyrone Willingham career at UW continues. They had the week off, but face Oregon State and Notre Dame next...they are a odds on favorite to lose all their games, maybe they can win the Apple Cup.

    11. USC continues to work it's way back into the mix for the NC game, or at worst the Rose Bowl.

    12. Heisman Race is still wide open. Chase Daniels took a hit with the Missouri loss and opened the door for Colt McCoy. I think Beanie Wells while playing very well hasn't had that big stat game that running backs are expected to have, seems to be out of it. I think if the Gators can play like they did against LSU that Tebow will be in the race at the end. I think there will be a lot of ups and downs for all the candidates. It won't be like 2 years ago when Troy Smith and Tim Tebow had taken control by midseason and didn't let up.

    13. I don't think any BCS conference team will survive the season undefeated which given BYU's current rank, if they run the table I could see them getting into the BCS Championship game. I think either Utah or BYU are the only teams likely to remain undefeated.

    1. Great win for you guys.

    2. Okie State may well challenge to win your division. Besides, their coach will fight yours and probably win. (with Nebraska being the exception)

    3. Nebraska has heart and a good head coach.

    4. Everyone in that conference looks human.

    5. Great showing by Florida against an "OK" LSU team that is coached by an absolute idiot. UF clearly holds the speed advantage. What LSU had going for them was a physical presence along both lines and a physical RB.. What does egghead do? Come out in the spread and try to out-speed Florida.. Idiot.

    6. 5 weeks ago people were laughing about what Tubesteak would do to Petrino if he got the chance. Now people are laughing, but they are hog fans.

    7. Any poll without Penn State in the top 3 is illegitimate.

    8. We show flashes of greatness and flashes of idiocy. young teams do that. hopefully we'll get over it.

    9. The real shame here is that Utah and BYU play each other and the loser of that game will be totally cast off of BCS island. Meanwhile teams that get beat at home by Ole Miss and on the road to Oregon State remain in the hunt for the flippin national title. This system sucks.

    10. I really hope the Irish clobber Ty's Washington team.

    11. I still think, at this time, Cal would beat USC.

    12. Does anyone even care about this award anymore?

    13. See #9. they both have TCU to contend with, but I agree that they look like it will be a big showdown on nov 22nd (the last game of the regular season)

Gee, the Badgers lost to M in the Big House. Wasn't that Toledo that waltzed out of Ann Arbor with a wolverskunk scalp on Sat.? There are at least 4 teams in the BT better than Wisc.

Like it or not if the math lets BYU into the BCS Nat'l Championship game (or Utah) Holy hell will breakout. Maybe even demands for a playoff. :)

I agree that Okie State is offically a player in the B12 south. I liked what I saw from their offense last night. They get Baylor next weekend an improved squad but still Baylor, that gives them a chance to come down off their high from last night before heading to Austin for the Longhorns. The Longhorns get no such relief, they have to play a no doubt mad as hell Missouri team that will be on a mission to prove something.

The 3 game stretch of Mizzou, Okie State and going to Lubbutt for Tech is very daunting to say the least for Texas.

I'm going on record right now to say that I won't be surprised if Ok St screws the pooch against Baylor.

Gundy is only one rung above Pinkel in the "bone-headed" coaching race, and OK St is not that good.

    Speaking of comparative scores.
The Aggies scored more points at Ok St than Mizzou did against them at home!
