At first glance I thought the USC loss may totally finish the Buckeye's chances of being the one loss team getting into the BCS title game but actually the chaotic nature of it could help the Buckeyes if they get a few more breaks.

Another USC loss and strangely enough OSU could possibly jump them into the title game. However with only one USC loss OSU obviously has no chance to outpoint the Trojans and must then try to make a case against any and all other one loss teams.

That will be extremely difficult if not impossible because I do think the SEC will have no worse than a one loss champion and probably the Big 12 as well. The fact these two conferences have title games is crucial to this argument because they would finish on a very high note while OSU sat idle.

This whole scenario works against any one loss champion from the Big Ten.
Penn St. could perhaps roll the Big Ten....possibly suffer a close loss at OSU but finish a strong 11-1 and maybe jump a one loss USC....but I wouldn't say that was a good possibility.

So the bottom line for OSU, Wisconsin or Penn St is they need USC to lose another one or go unbeaten themselves in the case of the Nits or the Badgers.

I'd be more impressed with the Penn State win if the Lions traveled 3000 miles to get it.

I see Mustain played in the Oregon game, and might play against ASSU due to a bone bruise for Sanchez.

Meanwhile, Runlv CrapINTer is also questionable as a result of a sack by Cal's Zack Follett.
    - Zack Follett

    - Cameron Jordan

A lot of players on opposing teams don't seem to like Runlv. Maybe it's because he runs his mouth so much.

The guy who took him down was one of his high school teamates, I guess he's been a jerk for a long time.

Follett's from NorCal and although Runlv switched high schools he played in SoCal. Are you talking about the CaliFlorida game?

Yeah, but that was Sanchez getting hit by Reed, not CrapINTer getting hit by Follett.

Runlv is the one who loves to run his mouth. Witness last year's Holiday Bowl...

I was talking about Sanchez, but then I moved on to ASU with the paragraph that started, "Meanwhile...". ASU visits USC this week.

Sanchez has a knee bruise, so Mustain might see time.

Runlv (Rudy) CrapINTer (Carpenter) is the ASU QB that was pummeled by Zack Follett in the Cal game, followed by the fun quotes. "Runlv" is a reference to the sun gerbils' home loss to UNLV.

I bet it was the name-calling. I see the Contra Costa Times link isn't working either. Too bad. There was some good stuff about ASU fans spitting on Follett's parent at last year's game in Tempe and Rudy taunting Follett during the game with remarks like "You're so close, Zack".
