Beanie is expected to start vs Minny....wouldn't expect him to get a ton of carries, but it sure is good to see the big fella line up again in the backfield. Just a guess, but I'm thinking the oline play is going to improve dramatically with 28 running up their back.... 8)

Also, Pryor is now listed as #1 on the depth chart and was announced the starter for Saturday ...looks like Coach T has given the young man the keys to the car.....

    Buckeye Terry,

Apparently Beanie has been fitted with a special shoe to give him additional protection.

No doubt, he will make a difference and give Pryor some more options in his playbook.

Always good to see college football's best players on the field doing what they do best! I'm sure Minnesota would have preferred he get another week of rest though!! :)

If he's healthy it should really open things up offensively for the Buckeyes. I just hope he isn't coming back to soon.

Good on both counts. Pryor looks like a winner and we know Beanie is a winner.

Amen to that....I do get the sense that they were very conservative in terms of getting him back in the lineup. In fact, and I hate to say this and could be wrong, but I suspect that there is more than one coach prowling the sidelines today that would have had the Doc give him a needle and send him in -v- SC. Maybe I get more cynical as I get older but I do think it's probably true.....sad, but true.

That was a good one....my favorites are when he just flat punks a DB with a stiff arm and they crumple to the ground broken. 8)

Safeties do tend to close a little slower when 28 is carrying the ball....esp late in the game after they've taken a couple of shots! Those 3-4 yard gains start to magically turn into 7-8 yard gains and by the 4th qtr, they start to turn into 20-30 yard gains.

More Beanie for you Jiffy - this time abusing the poor Wisky DB's.....then outrunnning them down the sideline. I'd hate to be a DB and see 28 on the other side....

He's probably still only about 75%.....
