Buckeyes win number 800 today to join an elite group, namely Michigan, Notre Dame, Nebraska, and Texas.

We were anything but sharp, and really missed Wells. Thanks to five turnovers by the Bobcats, we finally prevailed.

Next week at USC could be a difficult task, unless we can muster some more offense and really step up the defense.

I'll be rooting hard for the Bucks but I don't see it in the cards.

I don't expect to see a flat and sluggish OSU team next weekend in L.A. I expect to see a fired up and motivated OSU team. If USC looks at that Ohio game and figures it to be a cakewalk they will lose the game.

I think we can all agree that you'll see a different Buckeye team show up in LA then the one we saw yesterday.

It was no shocker to me that these kids came out flat, without Beanie and just never found an offensive rhythm and looked lackluster at best until mid-way through the 3rd. A fired up bunch of OU kids gave 'em everything they wanted.....

The offense was never in synch, everyone was looking to hit a couple homeruns and then go to the sideline and watch the AYO's....the backs, the wideouts, the QB and the Beanie-less O-line just didn't have anywhere near the same intensity.

I expect they will be a little bit more ready to play next Saturday....these kids will have their hands full for sure and if Beanie isn't ready to go travelling across country to face a very talented and deep SC squad who had two weeks to prepare, the task may be more than they can handle.....with Beanie at full go, I would expect to see quite a scrap.

Repeating myself, the tea leaves I'm reading say Beanie will not be at full go, and the rest of the guys and coaches better be ready for that...Hope I'm wrong.

I'll be rooting for Ohio State, but S. Cal is the class of the college football world right now. It's going to be tough.

There was a time that I dreamed that ND would upset an unbeaten USC team in LA to end a really great year. So I was rooting for USC. But now I think I'd just as soon see my Buckeye Buddies get the win! Go Buckeyes!

You are a good man TOK.....with a healthy Beanie it will be a battle. Without, we have an uphill climb of immense proportions. I do expect the defense to play very well but a healthy Beanie would make their jobs a whole lot easier. Offensively I have no clue what JT is thinking....

Early lines are all drifting toward Troy - SC - 9 1/2 - 10 is where we are today.

I'm not quite sure what to expect to tell you the truth....clearly we showed nothing Saturday and likely spent some of the week working on sets for SC. That's a good thing.....Petey doesn't know either. You're right about Sanchez.....he's going to get christened for sure.
