    NCSt is running a very familiar look at defense, and S.O.S. is running a very familiar look at offense....is this guy that Bullheaded?

    A LOT of head hunting going on by the GCocks...ref's stingy with the flags.....QB for NCSt is really hurt.

    I saw the play where he took the knee to the head, but then switched to the Trees vs. the Tree Rats. Later I heard the QB was concussed.

    The play the kid got hurt on wasn't cheap, IMHO, but the play before it was.

    It's early but I didn't think much of either squad.

    I think Spurrier misses the talent he had at Florida.

    But the defense looked pretty good and S. Carolina came alive in the 2nd half. A early season win over a decent opponent is always ok.

    I thought both teams looked pretty pathetic. Smelley def. looked like the best QB option for Spurrier. What killed me was Lou Holtz before the game singing Carolina's praises and then at halftime when in was obvious they sucked he said that it "was hard to tell much about a football team in the first game." I don't disagree with that but just learn to say that you were wrong when you predicted S. Car. to hang in the SEC. Give me a break.
