I haven't been paying any attention to news/weather this weekend. So I'm pretty suprised to wake up this AM under a Hurricane watch! We do need the rain though!!
Please be safe..... At least you get warnings. at this point are sick of rolling or not knowing if another large one will strike... since they didnt even know that the fault that broke was even there before last week. Stay indoors watch some movies or nd tapes on the new recruits,, But please be careful
From NOAA weather, it is not expected to turn into a hurricane. However, the winds a=can be sustained up to 73 mph and still be classified as a tropical storm. We have two firnished guest rooms in Round Rock!!!
T... here in the mini state when we get storm warnings ( blizzards etc) Milk, bread, and TOILET paper sells out in stores.
Here in the surrounding areas of Seattle, we got trees. When the wind blows hard they fall on power lines and huge areas lose power. In the winter all hotels, motels with power generators are inundated. Up to now kids in Seattle and Bremerton have not had power outings so I can find shelter, restaurants etc.
We got more rain out of this system than we have had in three months. I think I counted about 10 to 15 rain drops! :?
