Not a live National TV deal like ND, but still extremely lucrative 100M over 10 years. That's a lot of dough. Unlike ND's deal it covers more than football. According to this it likely kills the SEC Channel that had been talked about. ND gets a lot of grief about going their own way and having their own deal, I wonder if the Gators SEC buddies will be critical of UF for going it's own way with regards to this deal.

Nothing that benefits me as my cable system doesn't pick up Sun Sports in spite of the 300 or so of us up here that might watch it on Sunday mornings....

Well, don't give up...enough pressure and they might...write 'em.

I'm still with Time-Warner but they are either going to get the Big Ten Network or I'm leaving them for Dish.

Unfortunately the Columbus Dispatch just had an article about how many folks are rushing to sign up for Dish and Time-Warner crowed that they were "not noticing a mass desertion"...the question is will it take that or will they wise up? If not I'm leaving.

Stu, I get the B10 Network on Directv. I don't know if it's because I get the sports package or what. Does Dish include it with their basic service?

One of the dish companies is owned by Rupert Murdoch, who is involved somehow in the origination of the Big 10 channel. Terry, it may be your dish company and that may be why you have it.

Stu, Comcast and its affiliates has come to terms and will have the Big 10 channel starting this football season. Maybe Time-Warner will fall in line. However, there may be more professional issues relating to competition between T-W and Murdoch. I hope not for your sake.
