The only group with a dog still in the fight!!

You guys really peaked at the right time, that little hiccup towards the end of the regular season was just you guys taking a breath and getting ready for the tournament run. Scary that you guys beat LSU in the SEC championship game so easily.

Just looking at things right now it seems to me that a LSU/Fla Nat'l championship game.

    Thanks

<r>LSU didn't have one of their big men. He was being held out to recuperate from an injury to be ready for the NCAA's. Turned out to be a good call by their coach. We'll see...if we get there.<br/>

    Thanks Terry!

We played LSU in the semi final game in the SEC and played South Carolina in the final. We beat them with a basket with 5 seconds to go.

I didn't know LSU held out one of their players, good decision on their part.

I'll take a Gator-LSU final and let the chips fall where they may.

Big Baby scares the #@$! out of me.

Congrats to all Gators on a well deserved appearance in the Final Four! BDR and meself are surprised to hear that only the Gators have a dog in that fight...and even more surprised to hear that LSU has already qualified for the final game! Good luck to the Gators in their bout with Cinderella...

    Way to go

<r>Maybe the SEC wasn't so bad after all. UF and LSU pulled it together at the right time. Good job! <E>:!:</E></r>

I keep forgetting that you and Corey are UCLA fans. But I was thinking mainly of guys who's primary team is the Gators.

Jack what's in those Mason Jars! You know Moonshine is not only illegal but also likely dangerous!

    Bill,

Do you think Noah and Hortford will return next year? I wonder if Big Baby and Tyrus Thomas of LSU will also go NBA.

Terry, right now the thoughts out of Gainesville are that all our players return next year. I believe Noah has stated he is coming back, that he is having to much fun to leave.

Noah is the straw that stirs the Florida drink. His fire is what has been missing for the last 5 years at UF and I am damned glad he has such a leadership role on this team. This team has a real shot to win it all because I don't see Noah suddenly getting complacent.

Kudos to our SEC contingent on this board. For most of the season, the conference seemed to fly under the media radar screen with most of the press pointing at the Big East and ACC as the power conferences. Now there is a good chance the the NCAA finals will an exclusive club of the SEC.

As far as the B10 goes, I was not surprised we flopped but I was stunned Illinois fell early. I thought they had a legitimate chance of going back to the final four given their talent and great coach. And, although it pains me to say this, watch out for the Buckeyes next year. And considering that their football team is also loaded with talent, I think its time for me to stock up on Zoloft and some BDR recommeded beer to get through this coming year.

    You'll make it through, Bobda...

We lose most of our starters, and the new frosh will probably take some time to get going, and who knows if they are as good as they are rated.

And if they are as good as they are supposed to be, they probably won't be around all that long.

But I certainly do like our coaches at this point.
