It was sort of chilly this AM in Houston how are you guys up north doing? The news reports of big snow in the plains and the Ohio Valley (where's that?) I see that it's going to be pretty cold this week for the start of ND Spring Drills, and they even have a baseball game to play in South Bend tomorrow. You still putting logs on the fire Whobe? Terry
Here is the Ohio River Valley, where a young British army officer named George Washington once started the French and Indian War. It includes the modern states of Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and parts of Pennsylvania, Illinois and West Virginia. Its the land that follows the Ohio River until it empties into the Mississippi River...
5 inches of snow in Indy, a record for March 21. not a flake in Ft. Wayne. Speaking of ND baseball, my daughter called last night. During their spring break, they want to come up to our cottage with their 4 boys (ages 9, 7, 5, and 7 months) and go to the ND-Pitt baseball game on Sunday, April 2. I hope it works out weather-wise. The 2 older boys want to see their new idol, Samardzija (sp?).
Looks like Stu might live in the Ohio Valley, thanks for the geography lesson. I wonder if JB has dug himself out up there in Nebraska yet! Terry
 In the last few weeks, its been snowing here in SoCal on both sides of the San Gabriel Mountains, so it has to be getting deep in places back east... ..........JO'Co
Actually, I do live in the Ohio Valley...by about 5 miles...just north of us is a continental divide... There used to be a house on Plymouth-Springmill Road not far from here where the owner could pee out his front porch and it would drain to Lake Erie and the St. Lawrence Seaway...or out the back porch and it would drain down the Ohio River to the Mississippi and the Gulf of Mexico. Sorry I missed the snow...I was in Florida then Pinehurst. stu
