The Aggies are coming, and Hell's coming with them!! ;)

Our top guns are freshmen, and yours are upperclass...
    It's on your turf.

    Your boys should be favored.

BUT... This Aggie team has been very hot lately, so it should be a great series.

Winner is a lock for a national seed with the loser not necessarily out of the running either.

    Any thoughts?

Thoughts.....hhhmmmmm.....O.K., here's one...I have inside hookup tracks on tickets for the CWS. Check out Paulies on Leavenworth street in Omaha. That's were we'll be partying. Anyone else interested? Doc? Gipper? Corey? Etc?

I almost forgot.....BE PREPARED FOR A DICTATED POLICY ON HOW AGGIES ARE ALLOWED TO WIN IN LINCOLN......It reads like this...NEVER!!!!!

    No really, Good luck buddy.

    I can't believe I just said that. :p

    Truly a kinder, gentler, AJ!!!
    8)

I would LOVE to come up to Omaha for the CWS, but I don't think I can swing the time this year.

Make sure you still have your contacts in '09... I'm there!

Game 1 to the Aggies 6-3.

    WOW.

    5.5 hours, 16 innings.

The biggest thing for the Aggies: only 3 pitchers used!

NU used 5, but I don't know if any were being counted on for later in the weekend.

    I'll take it!

    That's more like it!

I was beginning to think the country club life had made you soft! ;)

A couple of my friends were there, and said it was a great game. Both sides played great ball, and made the plays when they had to. Your boys played mean small-ball at the end to tie it up and force the extra innings.

Big game today. If we can steal this one, we'll be in great shape for a super regional.

    Rain delayed play til today.

Unfortunately, it also seemed to take the edge off the Aggies.
8 errors over a 10 inning span doomed any chance of winning the series.
Very uncharacteristic for this team which is (was) 2nd in Big 12 fielding percentage...

Ah well. It was an exciting series even if my boys came up short.

I believe if we win 2 more games, we're still XII champs, but I'm not positive...

Well wonders do exist. TU has taken the first 2 games of the 3 game season ending series from Old Army. Worst TU team in 20 years or more to boot.

A&M now must win today otherwise I believe Neb will win the B12.

Scott can not be happy, Ag's were swept by the 'horns. Terrible finish to regular season by the Ag's. They could have been a national seed, but the Neb trip and the Texas series leaves doubts that they can even get past the regionals. They need to right the ship and do well in the B12 Tournament.

    WTF?!?!

I turn my back for a few days, and my guys fall to pieces.
Not a good way to finish.
More errors in the last 5 games than in the previous 30, and bats that fall completely silent. (somebody figured out that our free-swingers can't take a breaking pitch!)

I have no idea what happened to cause the total collapse.
They seemed to be rolling, but the wheels are definitely off now.

I was worried about finding a 4th starter for tourney play, but now that seems to be the least of our troubles.

    NOT PLEASED!!
