Before UGA he was suppose to be a high draft pick.

    Too small.

    TB,

You didn't call the Joe Flacco pick, did you?

How about no WRs picked in Round One?

    That is not true

<t>he was already labeled a 'system' qb going back to his junior year. People were saying he was too small and his arm wasn't strong enough long, long before that Georgia game.

You guys finished well, no doubt about it... but to even imply that you somehow 'exposed' or worse yet, ruined some kid is nonsense. You were, IMHO, the 2nd best team in the country at the end of the year.

Brennan's one of those guys that I'd like to see get a shot in a WCO system after a 2 or 3 year backup role. I don't know if he will get that chance, but I think in a perfect world that is all he can really ask for. People talk about Georgia, but forget what Brennan did to an Alabama defense that was at least as good. You'd think that a fan of a program whose greatest QB is Fran Tarkenton, you'd have more appreciation for guys like that..

I mean, if you want to use the draft as an indicator or gauge of talent/supremacy, then you can take the rings right off those paper tigers now. All of those 'sure fire 1st rd draft picks' for LSU are slowly sliding on down...

Anywho, how do you see Stafford rating out next year? I've read a lot of NFL scuttlebutt that the next 2 years are going to be awful for QBs. I tend to believe that this draft will be the worst of the next 3..</t>

Maybe I'm wrong but it seemed there was a lot of talk about Brennan b4 the game with UGA. I'm not saying he was considered a first round pick. It did seem UGA exposed him a bit from the lesser talent he had faced. Anyway that's all I'm saying.

All the talk before the Sugar was to hype a mismatch.
