This thing is going to the convention and it's going to get nasty. Even the NY Times chastised HRC for her negative attack ads. It's going to get down to the Super Delegates and if Obama has the popular vote and the most voter selected delegates and the Super Delegates go for HRC, I could see the black vote staying home in the general election unless he enthusiastically takes on the VP slot.

I sort of thought that OBama would come closer to her in the popular vote, I thought he'd close really fast and make it a 2-3% seperation. He did outspend her by something like 3:1

    My thoughts?

McCain profits every day that this democratic race lingers. He can target select groups to speak to, plan his strategies in comfort, build his war chest.

This has to be divisive for the Dems. The eventual loser's supporters are not going to fall in line en masse behind the winner.

I think both Dem candidates have far too much vanity and pride to play second fiddle to the other.

Could this be any more embarassing for Bill Clinton? Now they are playing him a tape of his own voice and he's denying its him! He has finished himself off as a "player" and now Hillary officially wear the pants in that family.

It's unthinkable that we could have a GOP president coming off the heels of GWB yet I'm bginning to think its very possible.
