Football Spring Practice is underway in most areas of the country or getting ready to start.

So to take a look backwards at yet another analysis of what conference is the best here is yet another viewpoint. Warning B10 fans will not like this! :)

    Which Conference is Strongest

Oh and there is a cool picture:

Not a parade raining this time...

Senior loaded Tenn. team spanks overachieving group of gals on a team that was absolutely decimated by injuries and desertions due to coaching change...yet still manages to keep their NCAA tourney streak alive the only way they could...by playing their way in by winning the B10 tourney.

I give them a lot of credit and look forward to our great recruiting class coming in.

Purdue is a good story this year...I understand that not much was mentioned about it during the ESPN Summitfest.

I must agree that Pat does get a lot of media attention. I am sure that can be sickening to those that have no ties to Tennessee. Believe it or not, sometimes I would like to hear something new and forget about raccoon fights.

I'm not looking forward to the Lady Irish and the Vols in the Sweet 16. You guys spanked us at home this year and I don't see a much different result in the Sweet 16. Maybe we'll make it a game I don't know.

bTW did you know that jealous opponents refer to Pat as Cruella De'Ville?

    Happy Birthday Stu.

I enjoyed reading the article, but raking the Big East as the best conference?

    I can't agree with that.

Yeah I kinda had a hard time with any analysis that came up with the Big East as the Top Conference. I will say that the Big East because of their scheduling and some exciting offenses has become a fun conference to watch in the late season when their big teams all seem to play one another. I know I read that they specifically design their schedules to get their best teams to play late in the season to create drama. While the other conferences go with always playing the same schools at the same time regardless.

If the Big East model was followed in the SEC you would never have UT and UF playing so early in the season.

    What, we're stayng on topic?

Did they rate the Big East #1 or did they just give the the best grade for relative performance?

Tom, Tenn deserves all the accolades for all their success...but sometimes it seems like media fawning when they treat their opponents like the unnamed Washington Generals...of course if we play like that then it's deserved...

I just think that their are rich stories that get overlooked.

Anyway congrats on another great year.
