I'm going to suck worse than usual this year... The decline of the Aggies has greatly soured me on roundball this year. I haven't watched nearly as much ball to prepare for the tourney.
Same here Scott, it's going to take a miracle for the Gators to make the tourney so I can't pick them all the way through like I did the last two years. But I'll play anyway.
Tom, I like your password. If my memory is correct, which isn't always the case, I recognized it immediately. Does anyone else recognize it?
Interesting. I recognized it as the phone number that Junior on Hee Haw would mention in the skits. Of course, like I said earlier, my memory is not always on target.
8675309...a local plumbing company uses that number, and the ad jingle plays over and over on radio and tv. At one point they were asked not to use it..but they continue.
I'll be goddamned. The band took their name from Junior Samples' used car salesman bit. Nice call, Sid.
Rick, LOL! Until you jogged my memory, I couldn't recall Junior's last name or the used car skit, but I sure recalled the number.

That's pretty impressive Sid....Hell, most days I can't remember what I had for lunch if I don't write it down! :?
Thanks, Rick, for that brief trip down memory lane. That was a show I loved to watch. I believe it was in an early Saturday evening time slot. Over the years my wife has rolled her eyes at some of the TV shows I've enjoyed. That was one of them.
 One of my current favorites is Earl, another of my wife's eye rollers. I like Randy, played by the actor who was the big dumb lineman in Remember the Titans who, because of the coach's motivation, hit the books and made it into college. I don't know his real name.
Sid, I am continually reminded of Hee Haw. The town I live in is stuck in that mentality. At first, I enjoyed the 20 MPH in the fast lane life. I am finding it more irritating by the day though. Cindy and I have tried to pull them kicking and screaming into the 20th century to no avail. Yes, I know we are in the 21st century but we have to make baby steps around here. Hooterville doesn't change overnight. :x
