Riiiiight! He'll play if he has to use crutches. Terry, I vaguely recall the Tom Matte game many years ago. Didn't the Colts win that one? I'll have to dig into the archives to find out.
I think my man Jif is engaging in a disinformation campaign. His association with the South Shore of New Jersey Notre Dame Fan Club has taught him some new tricks.
Geez Tooth....where did that Matte guy play his college ball at? Don't know if it's still there but at one time the H-O-F had the wrist band with the plays on it that Matte wore during the game. Seeing as how the Raiders, Brownies, Lions or Colts ain't in it and even though I'm an old AFL guy (God Bless you Hank Strahm!) I'm going with the Giants (hey Gip is Allie Sherman still with us?)
Interesting on the eve of the Super Bowl, Sen Specter calls on the NFL commish to explain why the Patriots spy tapes were destroyed.
Now a former Pats employee who worked the video cameras is soundling like he has some dirt that he might be willing to dish on the Pats. Former Employee of Pats might have information
Belichik swears he knows nothing about video surveillance or the theft of opponents signals. I think we have to believe him.
Specter is a posturing a-hole. I heard him talking to Dan Patrick yesterday. Why in h*ll would he have any interest in kicking this dead dog when the old NFL veterans are starving because they are getting screwed on their pension funds? I'm no fan of the Pats, but for the love of mike, this is a closed issue. Let it go and move on to issues that matter. I hope Specter pays dearly for his posturing. Maybe he's running for re-election this year. If so, I hope he gets his butt kicked.
