    Based on that last part I looked up the Oregon baseball program on the school's website. It's not a user-friendly site and did not have a roster. Is Dixon on the baseball team?

    Yeah Phil Knight has been quite a good fairy for the Ducks hasn't he! :) :)

    I wonder how much he's spent on them in total?

    .....as much as they needed! :wink:

    In fairness, he is quite generous with his fortune. If I recall correctly, in addition to his contributions to his beloved Ducks, he donated $100 million or some such extraordinary amount to the Stanford business school where he earned his MBA.

    As much as they need is also what Boone Pickens told Brent Musberger in that interview he did at halftime of the OSU/Texas Tech game, when asked what if all that he has spent so far doesn't get the job done. He said we'll spend some more, whatever it takes. Pretty amazing.
