Did you guys read where Phillip Rivers had his knee "cleaned out" arthroscopically after the Colts game? Wow that's amazing that he could have had that and still played in the game vs the Pats. I'm not a big fan of Rivers as he runs his mouth a little too much for me, but that's toughing it out to the max. Terry
The latest is that Brady took the walking cast off today. The flowers, it is rumored, are for his gravesite on Feb. 4. 8)
George, being a Jets fan, you might appreciate that on Mike and Mike this morning, Greenberg, who is from NY and is a Jets fan said that this is the Jet fan's nightmare Super Bowl, crosstown rival vs. division nemesis. Speaking of Mike and Mike and Terry's description of Rivers' injury above, the media is trying to make an issue out of LT not playing the rest of the game after trying to run on his knee. IMO LT was a good team player by recognizing he wasn't running well and saying that a 100% Turner and Sproles were better for the team than a 50% LT. Even Deion Sanders got into the fray by criticizing LT, and Mike Golic laughed him (Sanders) off as a wuss, saying among other unflattering things that it was common knowledge that Sanders, while one of the game's greatest corners, was a guy who avoided contact whenever possible.
Sid, The "rivalry" between the Jets and Giants is not very intense. I find it passive. Most fans I know, in the clutch, root fo the "New York" team.
