Just signed Josh McCown and John Kitna so no room for Joey..... I wonder if they'll draft some more WR's?

Wow and I had just read how they expected his performance to improve under the new Offensive Coordinator.

What do our resident Lions fans have to say about this?

A buddy and I were watching the Colts-Steelers game and he remarked "It's amazing how much Peyton looks like Harrington when he doesn't have any time." We'll never know if Harrington could make it here because they never gave him much of an offense to lead.
We have two verry successful sports teams here and 2 that are terrible every year. The two failures the Tigers and Lions make the same mistake year in and year out.
The Tigers do not and have not had any good pitching for over a decade. They sign free agents like Pudge but have plumbers for pitchers. They just don't get it.
The Lions don't realize how important an offensive line is. If you have an O line you control the ball. If you control the ball you control the game. They let talented O linemen like Jeff Hartings go (not willing to pay a few hundred thou more) and he is all-pro at Pittsburg. Then they give the franchise designation to Jeff Backus who is a human pylon. He and Dominick Raiola are two fo the worst O lines in football but they'll be back next year. Meanwhile the moron who is incharge of player personel will probably be drafting another reciever in the first round this year. Will it be an overweight slug like Mike Williams or a doper like Charles Rodgers? Don't know but we've solved ALL our problems, we've gotten rid of Joey.
