I wish him luck, he's going to need it. Recruiting has fallen apart with RR leaving and he has to rebuild a staff that knows how to utilize the talent that he inherits. He's not a Spread Guru like RR was and if he doesn't get a OCoord who really knows the type of Spread that RR runs then it could be a bumpy transition. But after that win last night, I don't think WVU could have done anything else. The UF OCoord probably would have been better since he's runs the spread at UF and is supposedly a very good recruiter. But like I said after last nights win, it was a no brainer for WVU to take the man of the hour. Hope it works out for him. Terry
Gotta wonder how the hiring will affect the disgruntled boosters, Stewart being a born and bred West Virginian and all. I'd think it would help to make peace.
Hey if Kendrick whats Stewart to succeed you might think he would have kept those thoughts private, he certainly didn't help him with that remark.
Why in the world would that idiot make a public statement like that? It reveals to me that there is a giant chasm between the boosters and the school administration, which if it continues unchecked could result in even more embarrassment for the university.
