:) Northwestern, Michigan and Purdue were eliminated in Thursday's opening round.

Today Ohio State will face Penn State at noon, followed by Wisconsin and Indiana. Iowa vs Minnesota& Michigan State will wrap it up against Illinois.

Penn State is a much improved ball club and playing with more confidence. We blew them out early in the season at home, but struggled a bit on their home court.

I think we will have our hands full today, just hope my Buckeyes can regain their shooting touch from the outside.

One big disadvantage today will be no backup for Terrance Dials, should he get into foul difficulties. his backup had his appendix removed Wednesday.

Ohio State wins 63-56, but trailed most of the game, until the closing minutes of play.

    Go Bucks!

:D Buckeyes beat indiana in closing seconds 52-51 to advance to championship game agains Iowa, who defeated MSU.

Both teams had terrible days shooting the ball and a very close contest all the way.

Not quite what I was hoping for, but confirmed my fears about this squad. That being when the perimeter game is shut down or not effective, we are not strong enough up front to be more than a top 25 or so team. Just not enough size and/or numbers to go with Dials. I was encourage at the mid point when Foster appeared to find his jumper , but alas it was fleeting and he continues to struggle from beyond the arc. If he can't find his form, I fear we may be very disappointed.....if he does regain his stroke, these kids can make some noise. But, I do believe in the old adage, live by the jumper, die by the jumper.....
