We have 2 Pac10 programs that are sure to bring humiliation onto the conference.

Can Cal beat Air Force? Jeeez I hope so.. They've been terrible for some time.

Then we have Oregon, I do feel a little bit bad since they were a special offensive football team with Dixon.. Without him, well... let's just say the Coach's wife isn't the only thing that blows up in the land of angry hippies..

Speaking of hippes, here's some Cal stuff to keep you entertained

We also have Indiana and Okie State.. I sure would like to see Indy go out a winner this year.

Fresno State vs GTech.. Those poor kids from Atlanta are going to be colder than they've ever been in their lives..

Kentucky vs FSU- Does anyone care? While I'd like to see FSU get piped in the head, this whole thing is setting up like another one of 'St Bobby's miracles'

Oh yeah, Clemson vs Auburn tonight. Can Auburn score? I think if they can get 3 td's they will will.

21-0 Air Force ....CAL looks like they didn't even bother to prepare for an option based offense.

CAL offense starting to look good...maybe this will turn into a big shootout.

That option offense threw Tennessee a curve last year as well. Just like Tennessee, Cal seems to be getting a handle on it. 3 point game mid way through the third quarter.

I'll be off for a while. Cindy and I have reservations at the Columbia restaurant in Ybor (pronounced Ebor) city. It is supposedly the best true Cuban restaurant in the nation. Afterwards, the Outback Bowl parade meanders past the restaurant. The new years eve celebration culminates with the ball drop and fireworks at midnight.

Tomorrow morning, we're up at 5 a.m. to get to the stadium by 7. The pep rally starts at 7:30 between gates C and D.

T T Sounds like you must be in Tampa. YBOR CITY! Somewhere in the area is a great great Steak house..I forget the name. I used to go to Wrinkle City ( St Pete) for several visits years ago and went to YBOR often.

Well the Flyboys put up a heck of a fight, even after that just awfull knee injury to their QB...it looked worse than the one that Willis McGahee had in the 2002 NC game vs Ohio State. They showed why the knowledgeable college football fan doesn't take Air Force (or Navy) lightly. They can play and are worthy opponents not patsies.

I wonder if this game was a wakeup call for Georgia in their Sugar Bowl game with Hawaii. Fresno State finished 3rd in that league, behind both Hawaii and Boise, but dominated Georgia Tech in all phases of the game. Fresno had:
    573 yds
    29 first downs
    285 yds rushing
    0 sacks
and only punted one time in the entire game...
