Laval Lucas-Perry is transferring to Michigan.

This is a great get for the Wolverines. I'm really sorry to see Lucas-Perry transfer. From what little I saw of the kid from Flint, he's a very good player and a strong defender. He's also a very good student and well-spoken.

Congratulations, Bobda. And good luck, Laval.

Never heard of him, UM basketball continues to struggle this year. Their coach is a good coach though and he should get it turned around.

He is definately a great get for UM he was just a victim of alot of depth at his position at the UA...BDR what'd you think about K.O. succeeding Lute? I think its a great thing to have a guy with head coaching experience and NBA experience to succeed the legend...Not to menchin he is a defensive guru and noted as the best defensive coach in basketball, something we've been lacking in the tournament.

I was pleased to see KO added back to the staff, despite Ros being bumped. Something had to be done. The team no longer had the balance it had in the past, and with Pac-10 coaches like Howland, Floyd and Bennett preaching defense, Arizona was losing ground.

It also worked out very well, pre-ordained or not, that KO was in place for Lute's LOA. I expect to see Lute back next season, but I'm thinking it will still be KO's team.

Starting with the Kansas game, this team has shown a tenacity that's been missing at Arizona for several seasons. Credit O'Neill for that. I also like the way he runs offensive sets as opposed to just running a motion offense. With all the freshmen and sophomores playing, the structure has to help. Last night his decision to run the majority of the offense through Hill against a UNLV team with no real big man paid off. You see how quickly he pulled Brielmaier when he saw that the Rebels' three guards were just too quick?
