I received an email from Bill that he has damaged the quadriceps ligaments ( I ruptured my quad tendons in Sept. ) in his leg while walking his dog last night. Hopefully he will be on to update us on his condition and progress. Here is wishing him a speedy recovery.

Add one more "Get well soon!" to the list from me. If thats the nurse I'm getting the dog, and going for a walk right NOW!! 8)
what the hell did he damage it on...no snow or ice in Fl!!!! At least when I tore my meniscus last year it was an ice fall on my deck. with 15 inches of snow and ice on ground now...ill stay home
Hey Bill... If the poodle is going to do this much damage, maybe you should think about down sizing to a toy poodle. Let us know how things are progressing!
Thanks guys, I didn't see this topic until after I posted mine. Right after exchanging e-mails with MCG I got called to the hospital and had the operation Monday night. Jiffer, we live in North Carolina now, it was wet, cold and maybe even icey. Corey, I'm afraid that my wife Jeanne wouldn't let that nurse in our house! Gipper, our dog is a miniature poodle, a large one but still a miniature, about 20 pounds. I can't blame her, it was my own stupidity. Anyway I'm home but in for a very long recovery.
