    Ahhhh, jealousy in jawja!! :D

    Having said that, Tailback, I do respect your postition as I'd be diappointed in any UGa fan who thought Tebow should have won in 2007.

    Ah Tailback I'm shocked and dismayed you don't think Tebow deserved the award. I'm sure he will send it right back in for reconsideration.

    By the way I agree that Mareno was the best player on the field the day Georgia and Florida played. Fortunately for Tebow there's no rule you have to be the best player on the field on every day of every game you play.

    Heck Percy Harvin was the best player for the Gators on the field several games this season.

    Well, I just wonder for whom will Tebow vote in 2008?

    I've read he's going to co-chair the "Harvin for Heisman in 2008" campaign with Urban Meyer.

    But, will he vote for Percy ..... or himself? :? 8)

    I hope he makes his vote count , whoever it is for because I don't think he'll be around in 2009.

    There is a good chance you are right about him not being around in 2009 George, but he has stated publicly that he will be there all four years. My daughter thinks he will, I'm skeptical.

    I wouldn't blame him if he leaves though.

    <br/>
    I'm sure he'll win it in his Jr and Sr. season as well. Enjoy it young man. <br/>

    I can't see him doing much in the pros.</t>

    Personally I love the fact that Tebow loves being a Gator!

    He was a very excited young man and repeated himself a couple of times.

    Did I mention I love the fact he loves being a Gator?? :lol: :lol:

    Brantley might wish he's stayed with Texas! If Tebow stays all four years he won't see much playing time!! :)

    two things

    <r>1. serious question (for Bill et all)<br/>
    <br/>
    -I've read some reports that a lot of Heisman voters in Florida left Darren McFadden off their ballot all together.. Any validity to this because there is some bad blood boiling in Arkansas over these reports.<br/>
    <br/>
    I can see voting Tebow #1. I personally said he'd have my vote if I had one. However, leaving McFadden off the ballot all together just seems wrong and flat out dishonest. Have you heard the same?<br/>
    <br/>
    2. not serious question for the dynamic Gator duo:<br/>
    <br/>
    -Rather than making a one-sided passing stat post, any chance we can get you to post a list of 'Great Heisman winning QBs from Florida in the NFL?' <E>:)</E> How about any great Florida QBs in the NFL in the past 30 years? <E>:)</E></r>

    Don't know anything about that but guys like Tim Brown and Troy Smith didn't have Tebow in their top 3 supposedly.

    It is what it is.....

    The old refrain on the 2nd question is that the Heisman is a collegiate award. No Hall of Fame Qbs in the NFL for Fla but UF did have one start in a Super Bowl recently and UF had a Heisman caliber RB who is the NFL's all-time leading rusher in Emmitt Smith.

    UF has had as many NFL players as just about any school out there.

    You have a history of printing false information and then giving an after-the-fact mea culpa when called on it. Do you have factual information to back that up or is it just another MCGism?

    I don't know about that. I would expect that the more storied programs have sent considerably more players to the NFL. Teams like USC, Tennessee, Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas.

    Has Florida really produced as many NFL players as each of these schools?

    The two writers for the Gville Sun had Tebow and McFadden #1 and #2. If you have a link to an article with information as to which voters in Florida did not have D-Mac in their top-4, I would like to read that article.<br/>

    Well, there are many dishonest people in this world - in the meadia and in football coaching.<br/>

    LMAO at the ever growing anti-Gator bias and another persoanl attack! Heck, your case of "Gator hate and envy" is getting so bad, you've become a full-fledged "Gator Hater" and you belong in that population of "Gator Haters" largely comprised of FSU fans. Heck, should just start calling you a nole fan. <E>:wink:</E> <br/>
    <br/>
    WRT Gator Heisman winning QBs ... I'll take men like Wuerffel and Tebow over any winners from Notre Dame over the last 20 years. Oh wait ...... make that the last 40 years or maybe even 50 years!!! <E>8)</E></r>

    Corey, I am not aware of people in Florida leaving McFadden off the list. Most people I read or knew thought those two were one and two. That's the way they came out in 5 of the 6 regions in the voting, being reversed in the SW region. Regions of course meaning the Heisman voting regions.

    I feel for McFadden, he's a terrific football player who was runner up twice. However he's going to be drafted in the top 5, probably top 2, and get more money for a bonus than you and I have made in our lifetimes (of course I'm making some assumptions about you here but for me that's true :) ) so I think he'll be just fine.

    Gaterz, I believe you are joking, but I wish your would consider some of these remarks posters have made about being Gatorized and consider your part in those feelings! :wink:

    In this thread and in another Tebow thread, IC has tried several times to inflame a discussion with unnecessary and unwarranted ad hominem comments. So, far to no avail. :D

    And BTW, if Corey or you or OKeef or BT or KP or anyone else doesn't agree with what I post then don't respond .... especially with a personal insult or an insult of UF, etc. Afterall, are these not the very actions they claim to deplore?
