I heard this announcement today <t>I smiled at my friends (one of whom is a Georgia fan) and told him 'you just became the 2nd best team in the state overnight.'<br/> <br/> <br/> Georgia fans, at least those who aren't blind idiots, are not very happy about this at all.<br/> <br/> I can't see how this is Tailback's wish at all. In a state full of athletes, but not always the best passing QBs... He will be able to get what he needs to compete at GTech. If he retains Tenuta, things could be scary.</t>
Corey, I am positive that Tailback didn't want Johnson at GT. In fact I'm sure that's a nightmare for him. Tailback does think Johnson is a very good coach and that some big school should hire him. Now they have.
As you can tell from his response he didn't want Johnson at Ga.Tech. He's a big admirer of his and thought a lot of people missed out by not hiring him. Respect and Fear...is what Tailback feels.
and a pair <t>of loaded drawers.......<br/> <br/> Has anyone heard about Johnson retaining Tenuta?</t>
What Nebraska was thinking I have no idea? I believe KP is right on when he said it could get much worse before it gets better for them. Tech hired the best man available. Tech will win the ACC before Nebraska wins Big 12. IMO. As for Paul Johnson, I will remain a fan of his but not against UGA. It sure would've been fun watching him turn Nebraska back into a football factory.
