I heard about this yesterday. The concern is that it could be an NCAA violation that could cost Tebow his eligibility. That is if he was profiting from the sales, so to be safe from any appearances these steps are being taken. I can't imagine the NCAA coming down on Tebow for something he hasn't done but who knows.
