I just can't stand to watch James Carville, he could be introducing the SI Swimsuit edition and he'd ruin it for me.
I love it when Bill Clinton's #1 spin doctor expounds on "character" on the SEC commercial. Its like something from the Simpsons or the Onion or the Daily Show. I can't believe he can do that with a straight face. ~Matt
no <t>1. discarding the message because you don't like the messenger is a dangerous game.<br/> <br/> 2. As a strategist, I have nothing but respect and admiration for Carville.<br/> <br/> 3. I agree with him 100% on this subject.</t>
I think Carville is OK when talking sports. He's as goofy looking as they come, but being from the midwest, I love his southern drawl and his the way he colors his observations. For me, it's like Barbra Streisand. Her political views are whacko, but IMO she is by far the best female vocalist of my generation. With Carville, I could give a rat's petoot about his politics. My only interest in him is in his sports-related chatter.
I like Carville's sport show on XM Radio which he shares with Tim Russert's son. The kid is a bit of a dolt but Carville is hilarious.
