    I had to look a bit to dig this one up, but I never forgot what Damon's father said when Johnny signed with the Yankees.

    'It's going to be another Babe Ruth,' Jimmy says of son joining Yankees
    I wonder if Jimmy Damon recalled those remarks last night.

    LOL...the curse of Johnny Damon!! Oh my. Maybe he meant that the curse was going to be on the Yankees!!

    Damon can still win a WS with the Yankees - that's certainly within the realm of possibility for any team in the heavyweight (payroll) division - but as far as "the biggest mistake of their (Boston's management) lives"?
