since we didn't need it this year, I guess they have it.

After screwing around all game they finally have a drive for a TD but are down 10-7 with 2:11 left...what to do? Onside? Kick and hope for 3 and out? But they only have 2 TO's. Well they go onside and don't kick it 10 yds, but the VaTech guy touches it and fumbles it, BC recovers. Va.Tech is historically great on special teams, probably their only ST mistake this century.

Then BC drives and gets a TD but a hold is called, now they are out of the range of their kicker, so on 3rd down they are supposed to be trying to get the ball positioned for a FG, but even though the BC guard does a take down on the Va.Tech DT, Ryan scrambles and finds a guy in the endzone. TD. I really expected to see a hanky come out, it was pretty blatant.

Just a Boston kind of week I guess.

Oh yeah Cory says we get free tacos all over america because some Sox player stole a base....what's up with that!! :)

    Boston apparently rules!! :)

BC was holding on the final TD play too. The center held and then tackled the VT noseguard, but it wasn't called. Too bad...

Maybe the table is turning now and the favorites are winning?

We need all the help we can get in Happy Valley.

It all balanced out. The VT TD wasn't even remotely valid.

Wait a minute, if my beloved Penn State wins tomorrow then there's a very good chance that Boston wins the world series, super bowl, AND the NCAA football championship!!! Although I could never do it, this is the closest I'll ever be to possibly rooting against PSU simply for the fact that I don't think I can handle the constant gloating of Bostonians for years to come! Let's go Rockies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all, you won't find too many ND fans (including me) who cheer for BC. The football rivalry between the only two Catholic programs in D-1A is intense, to say the least. I'll leave it at that before I go off on an anti-BC rant.

Second, who on this board would gloat over Boston victories? Jiffer? Naaaaaaaw!

My disdain lies heavily with the Patriots more than anything. Even though I can't stand the Sawx, I can't help but feel there time is due given their history. But the damn Patriots!!! And Belichik for screwing over my Jets!!

Now wait just a minute..AJs SON! I had an amost daily relationship with your dad via e mail. If you and I are to continue..you have to get one thing correct. Red Sox, Pats go without saying. College football its Brown, BC, Penn State. ( I tried like hell to get the ND program turned around and failed 2-3 years ago) . Now do we have an understanding? jiffer lol :D :!:

Nah. I couldn't even tell you where a Taco Bell is located. I hate Fux, I hate Taco Belch, and I hope that's the last we see of that stupid promotion.

Red Sox-I don't hate them as much as the typical Yankee fan. That said, I sure as heck don't like them.

Patriots-No. No way, no how, no chance. Bill Belichik made love to the devil, and their bastard child is Tom Brady!! I thought their run wqas finally over, only to see them sign every good FA available and turn Randy Moss into a patron saint TD machine. Now I have to endure this for another 3 years at least. Meanwhile my Jets are just the Same Ol' Jets. J-E-T-S Just End The Season!!!!

Boston College-Honestly, I don't mind them. I just don't like the prospect of Boston having cornered the market on sports championships.

What's next, the Celtics return to their glory and the Bruins finally win one for Bourque (do'h!!).

Celtics sold their soul for Kevin Garnett, who is the Payrod of basketball. He's never won anything and saves his worst for the playoffs. He will however have a ton of great regular season stats!!!

    Mike,

A couple of unwritten rules to follow with regard to Joel, aka JIF.............

    1) Never make him mad.
    2) If you make him mad, don't worry about it.

    (just kidding of course, Joel)
