    I don't know why but that sort of sounds funny, I know there is a gipper or BDR quip in that headline somewhere!! :)

    Of course this happened back in April and they are still playing. At least at Texas Mack takes them off the team till they get their legal status cleaned up.

    That's because Mack knows the right palms will quickly be greased in Austin, and the problem will go away before the next important game comes up!

    I thought that the timing of the announcement was kinda usual. Nothing was said to make sure all the players were available for OSU. Of course once that game was over, it was time to break the story before they played Mich.
    I haven't heard the facts but it may be like an incident involving M basketball players years ago. (Commish had played HS ball with one to the players involved.) They got a clerk at a party store to go along with them carring out cases of beer without paying for them. The athletes figure if the clerk goes along it ain't stealin'.
