Not a 3rd year coach, but I've seen postings that Mike Stoops at Ariz is out at the end of the year and will be replaced by Mike White of UTEP.
you can't do it <t>its like comparing the GDP of 10 nations. Each has its own respective resources, limitations and benefits at work regarding their specific identities.

Urbie has done well, but he walked into a full cupboard and then recruited his arse off. He made a great situation better, kudos to him.

Miles.. NO ONE inherited more talent, and he hasn't won a conference title. He may not win one this year. Food for thought.

Chuckles... People simply do not realize the dire straights that this program was left in. Most of that was due to the fact that the media blinded most sports fans (and even some in the ND family) with the race card and a totally untrue 'bottom line: its wins and losses' reasoning for the firing of Ty. What helped mask this was ONE talented class that Ty accrued in his 3 years. There was virtually NO offensive line talent or depth. There was a handful of skills players...and in terms of actual numbers... Ty left a program that was so woefully shy in total number of scholarship athletes that ONLY SMU and Miami (FL) (both due to NCAA punishment) have faced worse rebuilding situations.

SOS: Has taken what Lou started and brought it to another level... but we need to see this season play out before we cast praise or judgment. Keep in mind, this offense hasn't scored a TD in 6 quarters of football against Vandy and North Carolina.

Zook is doing well. He recruits. He can build a talent base that will keep him a 4 or 5 loss team at a minimum. That should be enough to keep him around at Illinois for a while. But this is another situation in which I think its apples and oranges. What Zook inherited at Illinois is NOTHING like that the coaches at Florida and LSU inherited.

Ty: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA *singing* tiiiiiiiime is on my side..... The truth will be known here

Coach O: Gotta Go. He isn't getting it done. Sly Croom is actually showing progress and slowly winning the right way at Miss State. Croom had to change the culture and the program at Miss State. O took over an Ole Miss that was a bowl team and on the way up... Now he is sandwiched between Alabama with Saban and an LSU riding an all time high...This is like watching a boa strangle a mouse..He's done. At the same time, who would want that job?

Robinson: Done

Wanny: Hmmm he may get another year, but that will be it. The program does appear to have gone backwards under his lead</t>
On Charlie. The previous 2003(TW), 2004(TW), 2005 (combined TW/CW class) had 11 4 star or higher players in it. The 2006, 2007, and 2008 will have 41 4* or higher players in it. Quite a difference. Still doesn't excuse him for this year, we should have been better and more competitive. He's did a bad job of getting this team ready for the season. He'll have to do better.
Why don't they write articles about bad 5th year coaches? Oh yeah... there aren't any around... except ONE! His arse will be gone soon... PLEASE!!!
